2. Hosting and technical logs

This website is delivered through Firebase Hosting, a Google service. When the website is accessed, technically necessary data such as the IP address, request time, requested file, referrer, browser and operating-system information may be processed in server logs. This processing is necessary to provide a secure and reliable website and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processing by affiliated companies outside the European Economic Area cannot be entirely excluded. Google states that it uses applicable adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses where required.

3. Product-interest registration

If you use the “Register your interest” form, we process your name, email address, MX‑5 generation, selected kit, optional message, submission time and request source. We use this information only to evaluate product interest and contact you about Levo Gauge development, availability or launch.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where your request relates to a potential future purchase, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may additionally apply. Consent can be withdrawn at any time for the future by email.

Form data is stored in Cloud Firestore in the europe-west3 database region. Public visitors may only create a new submission. Security rules prevent them from reading, editing or deleting submissions. Access to the administration dashboard is restricted to the authorised administrator account.

Registrations are retained until the launch phase is completed, consent is withdrawn or the information is no longer needed for communication. Data that is no longer required is deleted, and records are reviewed no later than 24 months after the last relevant contact.

4. Local cart

Your product selection is stored in your browser's local storage under the key “levoGaugeCart”. It remains on your device and restores the selection on a later visit. You can remove it by removing the item, clearing browser data or submitting the form. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Administrator authentication

The unlisted administration page uses Firebase Authentication with Google sign-in. This function is intended solely for the operator. Google processes the account and authentication data required for the sign-in. Ordinary visitors do not need an account and do not use this feature.

6. Email contact

If you contact us by email, we process the message and contact details to respond. Depending on the content, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Cookies, analytics and advertising

We currently do not use web-analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. Public pages do not use Google Analytics or comparable tracking services. External Google Fonts have been removed; the website uses system fonts available on your device.

8. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for the future. Please send requests to hello@levotronics.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. In Berlin, this is in particular the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

9. Automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
